Most concert earplugs only reduce a few decibels of noise so I thought these would be similar. However, after losing the use of my dominant arm due to surgery, I found it impossible to insert traditional foam earplugs with my non-dominant hand, and was desperate to block out noises that were keeping me awake around the clock while I was in the hospital. So I tried these. OMG what a game changer! They are easy to insert into both years with my non-dominant hand, due to the little donut shaped handle and the fact that they don't have to be squeezed into oblivion to fit into an ear canal. These come with four different sizes of tips. I found that by switching to a slightly larger tip than I usually use, more sound is blocked out. In fact, they are better at blocking noises than the 3M and Flents foam earplugs I have used for years. They are also much more comfortable. I twist them around until the tip is securely in my ear and the handle finds a good place to lay flat in my outer ear. I cannot feel them at all, I cannot hear anything, and I have gotten the best sleep I've had in a week. Never going back to foam plugs again, and will be stocking up on this brand to make sure I always have a few extras on hand in case I lose some.

These are more comfortable than I expected for sleeping.. even as a side sleeper! Usually ear plugs like this will hurt at some point during the night .. but these were comfortable all night.It comes with a carry case and several different bud sizes.I’m happy with these.
