How many times have you gone to an event, a park, camping, or similar and needed shade, a place to sit and relax, or an escape from mosquitos? This has you covered. This tailgate tent with poles, awning, etc fits a variety of hatchbacks (Crosstrek, Murano, etc) and is super easy to set up. It disassembles into a convenient carry bag as well. My favorite feature is th emsh screen that keeps the mosquitos at bay.

This is a great tailgate tent that seems to be sturdy, fits well, and is very easy to set up. It provides extra space and is very functional when car camping.

I needed this tailgate tent to protect me from the sun while cooking on my table while camping. It would also keep me dry if it starts to rain. There is also a mesh screen to keep bugs out of my vehicle and will also allow proper ventilation. It is constructed from 210T polyester and a PU coating to protect from sun damage. They also included two tent poles, two tent stakes with four 10 foot wind guy-lines. There is elastic around the edges to hold it securely to my vehicle with adjustable straps for the wheel wells. There is a really nice carrying bag to contain everything.

The HEYTRIP SUV Tailgate Tent with Poles Awning Shade is perfect for beach trips, especially since we can park directly on the beach. It fits our Chevy Traverse snugly and provides ample shade, making it a great addition for sunny days. The setup is easy, and the poles offer sturdy support, even in breezy conditions. It's a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their beach outings with a reliable and spacious tailgate tent.

The tailgate tent comes packed into a small bag like you might expect from any other tent. The end result is a little different. Once unpacked, using the tailgate tent was obvious, but installing the tent requires two people to put it on easily. The tent has a zipped compartment to keep insects out of the vehicle, and it has an awning to protect from the sun. The tent attaches to the vehicle using included strings and straps that hook to the mirrors and tires, respectively. The tent also includes elastic ribbing along the points that touch the back of the SUV. This tent is probably best used when camping on anything other than paved surfaces. This is because the awning uses stakes to hold the awning in place once assembled with the included poles. Holding the awning stakes in the ground is the only caution I have with this tent, which is why I mentioned using it on soft or porous ground. The other caution I have is that your SUV should be of the type with the top mounted hinges - this does not work well on side-mounted hinged doors. Definitely a keeper.

I'm keeping the "HEYTRIP SUV Tailgate Tent with Poles Awning Shade Waterproof Windproof Hatchback Camping Car Tent, Universal Fit Most SUV/Van/MPV/CUV" in our SUV all the time because I never realized how often something like this comes in handy. We went to see a local light show and instead of having to find a lawn seat in a crowd full of people we were able to pop this on and setup our lawn chairs and we laid out blankets in the back of the SUV for the kids, if it rained we were already prepared with the awning. It's easy to setup and It took us probably around 20 minutes to setup but it's absolutely worth the time it takes. It fits great on our Chevy Traverse. It's great quality, durable, and sturdy. It seems like it will last us through lots of fireworks, concerts, and trips. I highly recommend it!

This tent is plenty large for a Subaru Crosstrek, which is a very small SUV, but it still fits snugly. It would fit a Subaru Outback, Toyota RAV4, or any mid-sized SUV without issues and probably even a Subaru Ascent. It was very easy to install, even on my first time installing it. It slips over the tailgate up to the rain channel and under the bumper. I connected two tie straps to the wheel spokes and cinched it tight. I unzipped the outer awning/door and rolled it up out of the way. I did not install the poles. This is as far as I would go unless it was very windy or rainy, as I prefer an open-air tent and ease-of-setup is important to me.The screen door unzipped easily to allow entry, though the Crosstrek is high compared to most small and mid-sized SUVs and I will mostly use the rear car doors for entry/exit to avoid climbing over the tailgate. It removed easily and fit in the bag on the first attempt. It is small and stows nicely in the trunk compartment without using much space. For my purposes, it does the job well... easy to put up (less than 2 minutes with practice), easy to take down and stow, small, and light. The quality seems to be very good.

This fits wonderfully on my 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE. I just got an SUV air mattress and blackout shades to save some money on cross-country travel, and this little tent gives me the option to camp and get more fresh air if I am not boondocking in the city. It's a snug fit and offers bug and rain protection while still allowing good air flow. The set up was easy peasy and I love the options to stake out the awning, close up tight to the car or just roll up and secure. Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing.
