Pros:• Smooth Thread Operation: The threads on the components operate smoothly, allowing for efficient setup and operation.• Versatile and Effective: This kit is perfect for use with Bridgeport mills and other milling machines, providing a variety of clamps and nuts for different setups.• High-Quality Construction: Made from high-quality tool steel, all parts are heat treated for durability, ensuring long-term use and resistance to wear.Considerations:• Limited Clamp Pieces: The kit contains fewer clamping pieces (6 T-nuts and 6 flange nuts), which may not be sufficient for some applications.________________________________________Summary:The HFS(R) 58PC Clamp Set offers a solid variety of tools for those using T-slot systems, with a well-organized carrying case and easy-to-use components. It is ideal for holding down workpieces securely on Bridgeport mills and other milling machines, providing both reliability and convenience. The overall quality of the components is good. There may not be a really robust set of components but the set remains an excellent option for many milling and clamping applications.________________________________________Final Thoughts:This clamp set is a great option for hobbyists and professionals looking for an organized, easy-to-use clamping system for their milling operations. While it may not be the best choice for those who need a large number of clamps or expect perfect finish quality, it offers good value for the price and is reliable for most applications.________________________________________Amazon Vine Program:This is a review of a product received for free via the Amazon Vine Program. I wanted to get a set of these for awhile now, but just kept on using my home made ones all the time.I saw this set pop up at a higher price than what the usual sets are going for. I figured better quality...The steps were cut right on all of mine, and that is the main thing. Making steps is a pita. The bolts have thread too long. Particularly the smaller length ones. It can be seen in the pictures that I couldn't even clamp down a 3" milling vise because I ran out of thread. The threaded part that screws into the T-Nut should be just long enough to get into the T-Nut. No more, no less. The way the threads are cut however, I run out of thread trying to clamp it down on low profile work pieces. My solution was to cut it off to reduce the thread on one end. It should have been done in the factory. The threads have been cut and some of them had metal shavings from the cutting process still attached. Tweezers took the splinters out of my fingers. Tweezers however you have to supply. The clamps themselves look like they are forged then painted. Some are bent like a banana. The holding ends that clamp your work down have a lot of rough edges on them. Don't expect even clamping pressure and it will damage softer work because if the roughness. See pictures.Overall they will do the job if you do your job and clean them up first. If you don't they might rock, damage your work or slip.To be honest, for the price I expected a lot better quality.Instead of making my own clamp set, I will be milling these down to be workable. The spec says they are tool steel. Not mine. The bolts cut like they were mild steel. I haven't started milling the clamps and probably won't for a while. It's hard to get inspired to fix someone else's mess. At least this for me is a Vine item. If it was a $90- purchase as recommended, I'd be sending them back.

I've got a 14" rotary table on my Bridgeport mill. For the most part I have been just making the t nuts and studs/bolts as I go for it since it has smaller slots than my mill. I was pleased to find this kit. It's complete with "most" of the parts I need for various set ups, and it comes in a case rather than an open rack, so it can be put away and not end up full of chips like the kits mounted on my mill and the wall behind it.

Seems weird talking about it coming in a case like this, BUT hear me out; the typical set comes in a wall-mount carrier and is a major pain in the neck to retrieve pieces from. Just that alone makes it easier. Now I have a little extra wall space. The parts definitely feel heavy, not cheap. Time will tell whether they're as good as the wall mount set I have.

I was a little hesitant to buy something off brand that will be used in precision work but I'm presently surprised. The threads operate smoothly and don't have any sticking points. I was ecstatic that the T-Nuts stop the thread of a stud before it sticks out so you can assemble the t-nut and stud and still slide the T-nut down a track. The clamp legs are all nicely made, they don't have perfect sides but really, who needs them to be? The clamp jaws are a not precisely straight, but they are flat where they need to be which is the two ends and the slot for the stud so overall it's working perfectly, just doesn't look as clean as a Mitutoyo or Starett set.
