Great tool for 10 bucks! I use this in a collet holder, w a 3/8 collet, w a test lever indicator permanently installed in it held by the dovetail. Nice how it's the same diameter as most .200 edge finders so you can use the same collet. Works great for getting in tight spaces. Capscrews allen size are a tight fit but i was using a brand new allen wrench. (3mm)Every CNC Machinist should buy one.

If you need to get a spindle on center of a larger bore, there's simply almost no other affordable way to do it. The tool isn't hardened or finished well, but it does the job just fine and isn't any more frustrating than a much more expensive version once you file off the burrs.

Pretty decently made, durable, and tight when locked. The angled holes for indicator slide is a great feature. Plus all the twist and turns at the joint really help. Bought two and will buy more.

They need nylon washers under the bolt heads to allow semi tight fastening at pivot points to where it will allow some adjustment.

You can never have enough variables for mounting of dial indicators when machining components or other set ups, so figured whey not? It's cheap in price, Crude in materials and quality control. Simply said; it may work for you? You get what you pay for here. I don't even see much opportunity for use of the materials for another project or tool in future, time will tell. I am not going to use this for any indicator needs.

Works good no bend or runout, very precise which is what I need for aerospace.

works well. Great for the price. Not as easy to get indicator into all positions as I hoped.
