Worked great all summer for patio sun shade misting project. Water district has very hard, mineral rich water. Misters never clogged. Will replace for this summer.

I purchased a misting fan for an event at our home, we have hard water. This seemed like a good solution; however, the filter couldn't be tightened enough to stop it from leaking and wasting a lot of water. I'm in CA and we are in a draught and on a well. I try to not waste any water if possible. I tried adjusting the volume of water coming into the filter without results. I added another washer to the filter and that made it worst. I ended up setting the filter on a bucket to catch the dripping which filled up rather fast and needed to keep an eye on it to keep from overflowing. I used that water on our potted plants. If they could do something about the leaking connection, I would give it 5 stars as it did seem to cut down the level of buildup on the misting nozzles.

Easy to hook up but would not thread onto garden hose watering timer. Used for AC misting system. It did make a difference with calcium buildup.

This does not filter at all & destroyed our outdoor area. I had to use a razor to scrape it off the window, it won't come off the fan & the stucco needs to completely be repainted- not to mention 3 of the 12 misters are not functioning anymore & are plugged up. 100's of dollars in damage

This system works great for the summer. I hang it in a tree in the shade and it keeps everyone cool in the summer. Gets more use then the pool
