The bottom was not flat. Milled off .03" to mostly clean it up. The holes and edges are plasma cut and are hard! I drilled hole patterns to match my different mill table slots. The tool holder rests on the flat and does not contact the taper of the fixture JFYI.

bought this in hope that it would hold toolholders at work,but unfortunatenately the need a BT45 , what that means is I need a bt45

Tool holders did not fit properly. Side mount did not fit at all. It's a piece of Chinese junk.

As I have yet to receive the spindle kit I ordered last month the only thing I can comment on so far would be the build quality of this unit, which is nice. It is very heavy-duty and looks great. All of the parts seem well-made, and this thing will be here long after I am gone.

Works great. Price is right. I ordered mine for a K & T 2h universal that was on it's way. Unfortunately, deal fell through. I have another 2h - uses NMTB 50 - this, of course will not work with those - so, mine's a knickknack. It is a solid chunk of steel, inserts screws in with 1/4" machine screws, good for 40s (cat, nmtb), bolts down, base is flat enough for me - no idea why it would need machining.5 Stars

It doesn't fit CAT40 tooling much less BT40.
