Quality is really good on this blocks, The clamps are strong and also in good quality.The price is reasonable and the parts are packed professional in oil paper and in a nice wooden box.I am very pleased.

They are indeed within 0.0003". I had a tool maker bring the flatness and parallelism tighter as well as clean up the inside edges. These blocks will be used for Quality Control, so I doubt the clamps will break from hand tightening.

The milling of the slots for the clamps is appalling. The box was destroyed in shipping. One of the clamps is too wide for the slot. I suggest choosing a different brand.

One clamp threaded hole was not perpendicular such that anything less than 0.5" round was unable to clamp down.The other clamp was too narrow by 7 mils and unable to fit onto the block.Both clamps were painted and had three threaded holes each.A replacement set was received a week later. Both clamps fit and performed correctly.Note, the replacement clamps had the one threaded hole as in the picture.Both sets of blocks were machined well and with close tolerances (for the price).Wooden box is quite strong and nicely finished. The replacement box had a small amount of damage.

The blocks themselves are ok, I guess. About the 3rd or 4th time I used it, I snugged up my part so it wouldn’t go anywhere and the clamp broke right in two. I was NOT cranking on it with all my might, just tightening a die to put in my wire EDM. JUNK.

The v-blocks themselve are ok and within tolerance. But both of those garbage clamps made of cheap die cast metal shattered in three pieces while clamping delicate parts with moderated pressure. Now i can't use them because i don't have any clamps!
