Good little parallels for my grind mill vise. Dividers suck so I 3d printed some with sizes on it.

I have both 4 and 5 inch sets. They recently switched from wood holders to cheap soft foam holders inside. Other than that, the quality is good for the price. I checked them on a Mitutoyo micrometer and they are pretty good.

These seem to be OK. They arrived clean and free of rust and dings. Each pair was wrapped separately in oiled paper. The internal spacers for the parallels are made of a very soft foam-like material that failed to hold the parallels in place during shipping, so some of them were scattered around in the box, and the foam was all distorted. Whether it will regain its shape remains to be seen. I think the box would have been better and more effective with wood separators.

All plates arrived clean of rust and dents. That is relieving after reading one of the reviews before the purchase. Each pair was wrapped in a protective oiled paper separately. The only minor thing is the internal holders/spacers of the parallels are made of a very soft material that failed holding the parallels in place during transportation.

Yes these were made in China and China doesn’t have the best reputation for high quality right now. These parallels were wrapped in paper with plenty of oil on them to prevent them from rusting, which is very nice to have. They are pretty accurate, which is even better!

I purchased these parallels for my hobby shop. My milling machine is a medium sized knee mill. The only size vice that will fit on it is a 4â€. The 3†parallels are perfect for smaller work and there is a variety of widths for different size work pieces. They are nicely hardened and ground and each pair is wrapped in rust preventive paper. I would highly recommend this item.

I was surprised. I measured four of the 10 pairs and the overall heights were within 0.0003" of the nominal height and were parallel within 0 - 0.0001" The pairs were perfect matches in height and parallelism. Measurements were taken with Mitutoyo micrometers accurate to 0.0001"
