Stud back did not fit my Starrett or my Churchill indicators. They're not Group 2 I guess. It did fit both of my import indicators perfectly. I'm very happy with it and recommend it highly. The pull is just right to hold it firmly for measuring but not so strong you're going to punch yourself in the eye removing it when it breaks loose. And surprisingly the rubber coating seems to deter tiny chips from sticking. Between the packing tape I put over the back and the coating, it's easy enough to keep clean.

Only complaint I have is the disc that attaches to the indicator is plastic and was a little too thick to use the screws from the indicator. I had to file it down to fit.
