I've bought several of these from various sellers. I prefer aluminum over the plastic ones. I'm not sure if the aluminum ones are really any better, but it seems like they should be so I keep getting aluminum.With the others I've gotten, the rubber gasket always start annoyingly tight. But with a little use it loosens up a little and is easier to work, while still sealing. So these gaskets are tight, but I think that's a good thing.

They are what I expected for cam lock fittings. Good threads and good construction. The sealing gasket may be a tad thick, they are a little tough to lock in. But this is much better than the gasket being thin and it leaking. I suspect with use they will get better.
