These are VERY secure closers for my kitchen cabinets.You do need to line them up carefully as they are fastened by screws rather than adhesives.

I had a cabinet that was next to a drawer that would open every time you open the drawer, so I bought one of these and it solved the problem fantastically. Now I can open the drawer without it rubbing on the cabinet and opening the cabinet door these are not super heavy duty, but for the price they are fantastic. As long as you install it perfectly and gently open and close your cabinet or whatever you are using this fastener for it should be fine.

As noted by others, the screws are not up to the job, so the solution is to purchase your own screws.
