The meter arrived on time and well packaged. It was as described and it worked well for what I needed: to check possible leaks from microwave. It was pretty easy to use it.

I feel like the microwave leakage detector I received was a return. There was no protective wrapping and the battery was installed without the little piece of plastic that stops it from making contact. Every thing I have read says it doesn't come with a battery at all. I guess someone under-handedly bought it, used it to test their microwave, then returned it to get their money back. I know that kind of stuff happens but it really saddens me. The world could be so much better if people would just be honest and care about the wellbeing and needs of others.

Okay for simple use. Easy to handle and measure. Not much in effective range and kind of a yes/no outcome, despite the digital readout. Would I buy again? If I didn't have a broader application requirement, I might.

It is easy to operate and uses a powerful long lasting 9 volt battery, same battery type used for smoke alarms. Easy to read. Nice to know about dangerous radiation levels from old microwaves, if any.

This is obviously a used product. Box was all smashed, fingerprints etc. The device was used.
