My one piece of advice is absolutely under no conditions buy the painted one. The paint is inside and out.I run the bare material one. It's nice. Worked really well and fixed a hanging shift issue I had from a worn/short spring and loose o-ring.Shifts are firm but not aggressive

So I gave this 4 stars not because it is a bad product but because It didn't fix my issue but it did make my truck shift better and more smoothly and it was super easy to install

This review is nothing against the seller but more for the product itself. I bought this servo for my 2007 Chevy Silverado, 2WD with the 4L60E transmission. My transmission with 177k was showing signs of needing rebuilt and thought I would install this upgraded servo to see if I could buy some time. There was just enough hair size difference to keep this assembly from fitting properly in my transmission. At first glance it was an "apples to apples" same size as my original servo. I had minimal trouble pulling out my original and then after prepping the Corvette servo, main body went in with no trouble but when I put the end cap back on and pressed in with a crowbar followed by the snap ring, I could not get the snap ring in place. I monkied with that snap ring for almost 2hrs at night and could not figure out why it would not go into place. Finally figured out (after re-watching a couple of youTube videos) my end-cap was not being depressed far in enough. After taking the assembly in and out a few times, I decided to put my old assmebly back in place and see if the endcap depresses back in the trans enough to get snap ring in and sure enough it it did. So back out with the original assembly and to the bench to look at the difference. Turns out new servo assembley shaft was just a hair longer than the original servo shaft. So then I thought I would just take the Corvette Servo pistons off new shaft and place them on my original slide shaft. I go to put my old shaft with new servo piston assmebly in truck, and still not able to depress endcap enough to get snap ring back on. Finally I decided to just put my original assmebly back in so I could drive truck again at least. Maybe I should have just bought the $60 version, but after going through the constant put in and pull out of the assembly, I will just do the servo upgrade when I have my transmission rebuilt.

This thing by far has made the most difference in how my transmission feels, part throttle downshifts throw me back into the seat, nothing but positive engagement. At wide open throttle it makes the shifts very snappy, no more soft feeling shifts which is exactly what you want for a long lasting transmission.

I couldn’t believe how much better my trucks drives after this I was skeptical but I purchased another for my second truck it helps lazy shiting and that annoying 1-2 shift

Make sure everything is in place and there is NO cracks on yours and you'll feel a slight bump if you go mid throttle but doing regular driving you almost wont feel it at all, WOT is a different story feels amazing!
