These are quality clamps which fully encircle the hose and have no spots to cut into the hose as you tighten it. I liked them enough to order others.

I love them when dealing with silicon hoses they are designed so you can clamp the hoses down tight enough but not puncture the hose, the only dislike I have is if you loosen them too much they will become unattached which is a little harder to get back together then regular clamps, but I guess you have that problem with all hose clamps

I have not installed these particular silicon hose clamps yet. They appear to be defect free. Once installed I hope they function correctly and are durable overtime?

These tighten a heater hose properly. Regular stainless screw clamps can be ok, but for delicate heater hose you want an even 360 degree tight. These will do it. Spend a little more and get the right product.
