This is part of a system I use to verify cable connectors from end to end. Very little extra resistance is bad, this helps me identify which cables need repair.

Seems to work well. Haven't tried the capacitance function. Needs to be mounted in a box, but how? The two circuit boards are connected by a plug so you can't mount one side and expect the other to be supported by the plug. It would be nice if a custom enclosure was offered.
