I was looking to extend my existing misting nozzles and to direct them away from my patio in order to minimize the mist from accumulating onto my patio shades, furniture and carpet when in use. So after researching what was available on Amazon, and reading many of the reviews, I settled on purchasing two sets of 5pcs of the AmMist High pressure 5.9" flexible nozzle extensions and 1 package of 23pcs of the AmMist High Pressure Stainless Steel Fog Nozzles with the 0.012" (0.3mm) orifice opening. This was sufficient quantity to redo my current 10 head misting system.The nozzle extension tubes are made of copper and plated with what appears to be polished nickel. The quality of the soldered male and female ends and threading are very good. The nozzles are Stainless Steel, and well built with quality 10/24 UNC threading that fit perfectly into the nozzle extension tubes, and the viton o-ring used is much better than the typical nitrile rubber used in other brands. I purchased a tube bender from another vendor that I used to bend my extension tubes by 45 degrees which allowed me to deflect the misting output away from the patio as seen in my photos. I was happy to see that there was no noticeable cracking of the nickel plating in anywhere in the radius of the bend, suggesting that the plating is also of very good quality. This is important as you do not want water mist to eventually collect and patina any copper that might be exposed due to cracked or flaking plating. Lastly, after all extension tubes and nozzles were installed and water turned on, I had not clogged or malfunctioning nozzles. This was a welcome surprise as reviews of other bargain nozzle vendors on Amazon revealed malfunctioning nozzles right out of the bag.Although I have limited use on the new extension tubes and nozzles, so far I am very pleased with the the quality and fit as well as the mist created with the 0.012" orifice. If they hold up well with time (noting that the Arizona summers are brutal on things like this), I will continue to use the AmMist products.

They bend easily and add a lot to our most system directing mist where we want it. I actually bought a 2nd pack after the 1st ones that we like so much

It was time to replace the misters and I found this company in my research. I bought their misters and these extenders. WOW! The mist was always going some direction that did not work - into the gutter or the wood. I installed these yesterday and turned them towards the screen porch and hanging baskets. Amazing difference from just the mister line. I came back and ordered another set.

Great job! It does exactly what it's built for. Well built and sturdy, go slow bending. NOTE- Bolt threads are a little long. Stripped out fitting. So I had to add another o-ring from an extra mister head. Wish they were a little longer but I knew that going in. (TWSS)

These are well made but are very short. Please be aware, they do not twist like the picture indicates. You will need to use plyers to bend them. They worked as planned, but disapointed in the representation.

I wanted to extend the mist lower to the ground, so these extensions work great. Just installed them so I don’t know about longevity, but they can be bent as described, work great on my 1000 psi misting system, and were easy to install. I have a 24 nozzle system with a 1000lb psi pulley pump. From the misting company, they have straight thicker 4 inch extensions at about $10 each and while these are not as thick, they a much better value and the get the job done. Very happy with this purchase as patio is about 4 degrees cooler with the extensions. (In desert climate)
