I have two of these for two horses and they seem to work well. The only sweat on hot days under where the black Velcro is so they must be pretty good at keeping them cool. I’ve learned that if you keep the belly band just a little bit loose that the flies won’t get under it and then they can’t bite through it (it’s not loose in the pic because I hadn’t figured that out yet). The horse flies this year have been God awful. The big ones will bite through the fabric, but I’ve noticed that less of them will land in the first place. I’ve heard that zebra coloring works better for flies so I wish they would make it in different colors, but overall I’ve been happy with them. Stays together after a good roll. My one horse destroys everything and I’ve had them all summer and when it’s washed it still looks like new. No tears. My only thing is that the next part falls down sometimes but I guess that’s because I’m not using the same brand for their faces. If I did, it would attach there as well.

The belly band sits back further than I like but works well to keep flies away.

Very high quality fly sheet for the price. It has held up great on my horse who usually can destroy a fly sheet easily. My only issue with it is that it runs a bit small. My horse is typically 78†on all blankets, so I ordered a 78â€, but it is definitely a bit more snug than I’d prefer. If I were to order again I would buy one size larger.

This fly sheet is great! It is exactly what I’ve been searching for: a quality-made sheet that isn’t outrageous in price. I’ve bought two and highly recommend this sheet to others, with just two heads-ups to my fellow buyers. First, the clasps on the leg straps are cheaply made, so be prepared with a back up or a secondary clasp. Second, there is elastic on the belly band, which I didn’t realize when I looked at this sheet originally. After having it on my horse, I chose to not use the belly band at all because on a contact fit (not snug, just touching), as my horse moved, the elastic made the band slide back so it rested in the back cinch and/or groin area. My horse doesn’t care about that but I personally couldn’t figure out a way to stop it without over tightening the band or letting the band hang low. Because the sheet sits on and moves with my horse just fine without the band, I don’t use it. In any case, these two minor things are not enough to outweigh the good things about this sheet and they will not stop me from returning to this product whenever I need a fly sheet in the future!

Great fit, tough! Holds up well for all day, everyday use. Stays in place when my stallion rolls.

I bought the 75" for my 6 year old Quarter Horse stallion. The neck that came with it was a Medium, which was too small. After a week, it already has a hole on the backside. The velcro for the belly is backwards, so the rough part of the velcro catches on the material. I would say, this is better for stall use than pasture use.I bought a 66" for my QH yearling colt and returned it. I measured him and the 66" should have fit with over an inch to spare, but it was too small. The neck that came with it was a Small. The neck was also too small for my colt.

We loved it. We made this into a costume for state show.

I originally bought this for my sensitive gelding but he was more annoyed by the bugs with this sheet than his other. I use it for my mare now. The belly does need to be adjusted each day to not become a crotch strap. Helps to keep it on the loose side.
