Very good design. Easy to use. Sometimes you need pair transistors, so you need to know HFE. It reads perfect.

Worked well for 3 or 4 components. Then I began to get the slightest hint of something burning. After that the only thing that would display regardless of the component was zener diode. Very disappointing. I guess if you buy cheap you get cheap. Oh and don't expect operating instructions. I didn't get any. Had to search up pdf online. Personally I like instructions in the box.

The tester is in a nice case that includes a rechargeable battery. It was purchased to test and sort electronic components and it does that very well. It is very easy to use, quick with easy-to-read results, and stores away nicely. I had to try one inductor a couple times since the unit initially reported it as a resistor, but overall the product makes a great addition to my bench. I have not used the IR function. Would buy again - great value.

It somewhat works. I would get different readings testing the same part. It was right most of the time tho.The tiny screen is just too small for me to read & I had to put it under my microscope to see what it said.

Unfortunately this device was defective, as in the past there is a component issue, until corrected there be many more returns, but what to expect at the presented price. Nicely packaged
