This sensor shield V2.0 is easy for fans to plug and play with. For some starters, it is difficult to add circuits on it, so this sensor expansion board which can connect most senor shields to control panel solves the problem easily. It meets the expansion needs of most board. It's is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple i/o board and a development. It can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP).

So many pins and so much that can be done with this Sensor shield, imagination is the limit!

Works good so far, I got it to easily connect servos to my mega 2560 and power. I'm definitely not happy with the packaging for shipping though, it came in a paper envelope which doesn't provide any padding and there was only a piece of foam protecting the pins on one side so the other side was at the mercy of the shipping company and at least one of those pins was bent on mine. Otherwise a good product that fullfils my need.

It really simplified seamless hook ups for current component control for my robotic projects.

On the bottom side of the shield there are two pins that will make contact with the top of the USB port of the Arduino Mega. Make sure you prevent them from shorting out by touching the top of the mega when the shield is installed. I solved this with a simple bit of electrical tape. After that it worked great!

The pins from the power select jumper will short out on the USB connector on the Arduino Mega. It fried my Arduino as soon as I powered it up. Find a better shield.
