I struggled a little getting the RX/TX and TTL levels figured out compared to the serial device I was using, but eventually I figured it out and got it working. It switched well.

Can set relays easily enough with rs232 protocol but was unable to receive relay status. Put receive line on scope: it may be the return data has TTL levels, but I haven't tried level conversion yet.

The device needs no drivers because it is an RS-232 serial interface.The device takes 8 byte commands to turn the relays on , off, and toggle states.
