Finding metric wing nuts in North America appears to be tricky: none of the major home improvement stores carry them, you have to go to some specialized ones, assuming you can find them, and they happened to have that.But here they are, a whole box of metric wing nuts. I used them to make the handle of a Honda snow blower collapsible so it can fit in my garage. I found what I needed pretty quickly. They are made of 304 steel, so they will probably rust in 1-2 years, but I got a whole box of them.
