I've been rebuilding an old air compressor. Many of the parts for it are labeled "Obsolete. No Substitute Available" on the online parts list. Two of those parts were nylon washers. I couldn't find a replacement anywhere. Then I found these. There are enough sizes that I could find the size I needed and they're working great.

Someone mentioned these are on a car forum and thought I'd try them out. Specifically, wanted to use them on oil and transmission drain plugs. I've only used a few, but so far no leaks. I'm not sure about torque values and if it needs to be compinsated, but I'll let the rocket scientist sort that issue out. But for me, to date, I'm happy.

Just make sure it's tight enough to expand rubber part and seal properly (learned the hard way)

Very good price, very difficult to find off line.

I went through so many “sealing washers†including copper washers from the dealership plus a few eBay buys and still no luck UNTIL I ran across a YouTube video that had a link for these washers.I received my package today and placed 2 on the leaking banjo fitting area and no leaks! First try and many attempts to see if a leak would drop, none. These work!

Though these are of decent quality they will only fit things like banjo bolts. They are not a true Dowty seal. They are just aluminum washers with some neoprene bonded to it that extends a small amount above the face of the washer on each side. The neoprene rubber lining is too thin to have any give to fit over male AN ORB threads. Will only work on smooth surfaces like a banjo bolt where the threads are the same diameter as the shaft.

Used these when replacing some high pressure lines on my power steering system. These were fairly hard to find individually, so decided this set would be best to have on reserve. The combination of the hard hard washer surface and the sealing rubber inner surface makes for a great seal on high pressure systems.Taking a closer look at the inner rubber seal, it's actually raised a little bit higher on the inside. When tightened down, this really helps to seal the system up, once it's tightened down in the system. In a pinch, I have even used these to help seal the oil drain plug on my vehicles instead of my usual copper crush washer.Overall have been really impressed with these and so far no leaks a year later.Pros: - Great assortment of sizes - Raised rubber portion provides excellent seal once tightened down - No leaks after a year - Doesn't appear to be any defective or cracked washersCons: - Holding case could be better. It's just one of those generic modular plastic cases. Expect washers to mix if the case is dropped.

Decent assortment, probably good as oil drain or whatever - just DON'T plan on using these for A/C systems! They LOOK like typical A/C washers in the picture, but they're not. And they will NOT seal properly. Ask me how I know. :/Thankfully I vac & pressure tested first.
