This split lock washer provides a circular bearing surface with offset split ends which help bite into the mating material to provide a locking feature when tightened beneath a nut. It is round with a hole in the center and can be used where loosening from corrosion or vibration is a concern. Lock washers are commonly used in any application using a bolt where two pieces are being drawn together.

Am going to build a work bench. So it doesn’t shake loose I needed these to keep it solidly put together. They look like washers that have been split in a certain way so they lock pieces together well. I probably don’t need a hundred but they will get used for something else soon enough. Four Stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸!!!

They seem to be normal lock washers. Bought on here since my local home depot was out of them and I did not want to drive around trying to get them.
