I chose this griddle for the size. I have an electric range that has a side for grilling. This griddle gots a little big for my need, but still functions great. Easy to clean, affordable, great quality, and double sided for versatility. Would recommend, but use caution as the whole griddle does get hot!Used as JXDD44 replacement over “grill heating element†in GE Models: JP383, JP384, JP385

put 2 on my open grill and doubled its versatility. Now I can cook chicken with salsa, and have my corn grilling on the open flame area. easy to clean up.

Love the enameled cast iron- we get the grill makes and clean-up is easyGreat size for bbq or stove top. The cast iron keep food warm for a long time. No worries about non stick flaking off on to the food.

This griddle/comal gives you the best of both worlds. You get the heat retention of cast iron with the convenience of nonstick. Being enameled you no longer have to "season" cast iron or worrying about someone ruining your seasoning. And it's almost the same price as regular cast iron griddle at the store.
