  • IDEAL FOR INITIAL LEATHER EDGE SANDING: The abrasive rubber bits are designed to remove burrs, clean up glue residue, and smooth uneven edges, making them the perfect first step in leather edge sanding and preparing for subsequent fine burnishing
  • VERSATILE BURNISHING AND POLISHING COMBO: The beechwood bits are suitable for fine burnishing and polishing. Unlike overly smooth ebony bits, our beechwood tools offer both sanding and burnishing effects, ensuring flawless edges
  • COMPATIBILITY WITH ROTARY TOOLS: These bits are designed for use with standard small high-speed rotary tools like Dremel, featuring a 1/8-inch or 3mm shank diameter, making them versatile for a range of tools
  • DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS FOR OPTIMAL RESULTS: Each bit features grooves designed to fit different leather thicknesses, with a cone-shaped bit ideal for special edge shapes. It's recommended to start at a lower speed to maintain control and prevent burning the leather. Generally, a speed between 5,000 to 15,000 RPM works well for most situations. Please adjust the speed appropriately based on the type of leather you are working with and the finish you want to achieve, and avoid unnecessary vibrations caused by operating at excessively high speeds
  • HISEW'S COMMITMENT TO LEATHERCRAFT ENTHUSIASTS: Founded by passionate leather craftsmen, HiSew is dedicated to delivering practical, high-quality, and affordable tools. Our current bits help you achieve professional results without heavy machinery. In January 2025, we’ll introduce our Fine Precision Sanding Set, perfect for soft leathers, offering smoother finishes, finer control, and enhanced durability. We value your input and continually refine our products to elevate your craft.

bought these on a whim, turns out they are really nice, the rubber bits are a fine grit that works great on seams and the wood bit burnished it to a high shine after sanding. I use them on a dremel with adjustable speed and dont spin them too fast. you can also use a rubber eraser to clean the sanding bits after use but go easy.....all in all glad I bought them you will be too!

What a great idea for burnishing! I just got back into leatherwork after a 30-year hiatus and stumbled upon these while browsing Amazon. I use my dog toenail Dremel and it's the perfect speed for this purpose. The green tips are like a super fine sandpaper and they are perfect if your edge has some imperfections and for shaping. The wood ones burnish to a nice smooth finish. I use water to treat the edge first, then use the Dremel. The box is really nice for storing them, too. I couldn't be happier with this set!

Fit my Dremel no isssues. Need to figure out the speed/size that works for your leather. I would take a trim and test it out on that first. But So much better than just using your hand.I do recommend getting a stand for the Dremel or a way to prop it up that you can turn it on without it moving. Then using both hands with the leather for more control.Yeah you can also clamp up the leather to something and then use the dremel on it. I guess I would rather have it more eye level and not at table level when doing this.I like to have the leather taught in my hand more then the other way, but both works.

I watched the video again to ensure I was using the bits correctly because I was not getting any results. I tried the different bits on soft leather and thick leather, either way, they did not work for me. I have a powerful drill and no result even at full speed. I am disappointed. Perhaps, it requires skill, but even then, if this was a matter of skill, it should have damaged the leather, and instead, it barely did anything. The soft leather got scratched because it is colored, but that was it.
