I actually purchased this book for my 84 year old Father who absolutely loves Notre Dame football. He loved it so much he read it in 2 days! He got up early and stayed up late to keep reading. He really enjoyed the writers' perspective (players who were signal callers for the team).

This book was written by student athletes and gives insights rarely shown to the fans. It was a quick read and a highly recommended book for anyone interested in adding to their library of Notre Dame athletic history.

This book was awesome and I would recommend it to anyone who likes ND or is just interested in hearing about the legend that was the 2020-2021 college football season. Being a signal caller gives Reed and Mahoney a unique perspective on the games, and they do a great job at telling their story in a captivating, clear, and coherent manner. This book is a must have for former ND students, current/former fans, and anyone who can appreciate a good story about a very, very unique college football season.

This book has provided an unseen look into the lives of Student-Athletes in an unprecedented time. Their unique perspective shows both how a team bonds together as well as grows off of each other. Notre Dame Football took a bad situation and made the most out of it by the way they sacrificed to still be able to play the game they love.MUST READ!!!

Rarely do you get to experience a book written about a sporting event during or just after it happened. In this case John and Reed do a wonderful job narrating a season and giving personal insight. Was given this by a friend who is a fan of Notre Dane. While I am certainly not a Notre Dame fan this book is a must read for any Notre Dame or college football fan period.

While the rest of us were watching from our TV sets, these two players were living the ever-changing season from the front lines. A great read from the perspectives of two Irish players who were experiencing it from the sidelines and on the field. Not just for Notre Dame fans - any college football fan will love this!
