So, I've had this saw almost a week now and I'm just now getting around to writing a review because I've been having so much fun with it. I upgraded to this from a six inch saw and it's a world of difference. I've only used this saw with water so far and I may stick with that. It has a tendency to be a little messy with the water and I can't imagine trying to use oil. I've been able to cut razor thin slabs with this with very little breakage. All around a great saw.

Absolutely love this rock cutter. So quiet and smooth running. Just wish the sides and front had a little better water blocking. But other than that best bang for your buck by far.

This is the first lapidary saw that I purchased. It was very easy to set up. Motor is fairly quiet. I’m so glad that I purchased the 10 inch saw as it has a drainage hole for easy clean up. The vise seems to be only good for smaller rocks. I love that this is made in the USA! Great product and made well.

The one issue that I had was that the saw arrived in non-working condition. There was one electrical wire that had been loosened from the crimped connection. The crimping was too short. I was able to effect a repair, but the wire was too tight to maintain the crimped connection. Once I fixed it, it works well. I alerted the manufacturer and they replied that they will change the specifications.

My friend and I got this as we are amateur rock collectors and always want to know what is inside the rocks we find. This saw has been perfect and up for the task. Use as directed and it is a good little saw.

I like EVERYTHING about this saw, from the easy assembly down to the cleaning of this great saw!We have used it so far for cutting open some GEODES that turned out beautifuly. The saw did all the work for the most part, the blade went right through with precise, staight sawing. This saw is quiet, very durableeasy to clean and keep mantained. We look forward to the next lapidary project!!

I use this for slabbing Jasper, Agate, and Quartz. I like the large blade, it’s allowed me to cut very large rocks, almost 5†across. But I’m nervous about the cheap plastic housing; the housing bends while cutting rocks, requiring extra effort to hold everything together while cutting, especially since all stabilization is entirely hand-held, and I doubt it will last long.

Saw showed up, wouldn’t power on. Had to spend $111 to ship back and I’ve only received $14 after they stated they would refund shipping. I financed the item on top of that. This has been nothing but a hassle.
