Usually, I hold off my reviews until months after working with a product, but I have only used it one day and I can say it does exactly what I needed it to do. Using a fork to crimp both sides of an empanada was frustrating and time consuming. I completed 160 empanadas using this fork and wow what a time saver. It performed exactly as needed. Strong enough for my empanada creation. I find it very hard to believe other users were able to bend this device when making empanadas.

I guess if you're making your own dough (as the dough is a lot softer) it'll work great. I don't, so what I would do is go out and buy them already pre made. The dough is a little tougher and when I pressed down on it, it bent and I now no longer use it. Such a waste of money. I should have stuck with the old school way, use a fork, and call it a day.

Love this tool.. works very well. Just make sure your dough is very cold or else out will stick on this tool and become a big mess.

I bought this thinking it was a dream come true but was my worst nightmare. I have been making empanadas at home for a while using a regular fork to press. After about the tenth empanada, you hands become sore, so I was looking forward for this to come save my hands.The product came very quickly and I was impressed by the empanada fork's weight. But the list of downfalls start quickly from there.1. Does not fit the very commonly used frozen Goya small empanada discs. The fork was too small. I trimmed the dough to fit it but quickly problem #2 came along.2. You have to press very hard for the fork to work and it doesn't press the dough all the way threw. Many times the seams popped back.3. The dough keeps getting stuck between the prongs and you have to destroy your empanada to release it.4. When it does decide to miraculously work, the empanada has an unsightly flat edging.5. The rounded portion of the empanada fork easily bends up when you press. Something you would not expect from this type of metal.I have tried to bend down the individual prongs to try to solve its problems. I tried wetting it with water and coating it with oil to try to prevent the sticking, it did not work.I believe they need to revise this product. Experiment with different metals or durable plastic to prevent it bending. Triangulate the prongs instead of having them flat to help the dough combine on both sides. Then, make the fork larger to fit top ready-made dough discs.I gave this a two star instead of one because I was happy with the speed my product came.So far only a real fork can create the traditional and beautiful edging. Empanadas are truly a labor of love and this product doesn't help.DO NOT BUY!!!

Absolutely perfect very sturdy easy cleaning so this was perfect as I make hundreds of empanadas at Christmas time and this saved me so much time.

Love this product. Was a little a work all after reading some reviews but product is awesome. Only flaw is that it does bend a bit like other reviews said but other than that it’s a great product.

Received and used already. Easy to use. Just dont push it to hars cause it has a tendency to misaligned.
