The lights are housed in a plastic shell however they are more sturdy than I expected and the plastic housing makes it even safer to mount and install with suction cups. The suction cups even come with suction cup double adhesive pads for additional sturdiness.Installation is easy, the only thing you'll need besides what's in the box is a philips head screwdriver to secure the mounting bracket to the lights themselves.They fit very well on my front windshield, the wiring is easy and each wire is long enough to reach wherever I want it to be.Their performance is amazing with bright lights and plenty of patterns to choose from out of 20 different patterns options including traffic advisory directions.The pattern control box is bigger in person than I had expected which I like.Overall, good product and I am pleased!

I loved the traffic advisor option with this light, the brightness was perfect, the quality seemed decent. The wires and cord length was an absolute nightmare in my jeep, yes I could have cut and spliced them but I thibk it was just the fact the windshield and the dash were so close to eachother. These lights would probably be best for a truck, or large SUV. Other than that they look perfect, they were durable because I dropped them a couple times trying to fit them on the dash (jeeps are also narrow so they were pretty much touching eachother side by side).

The picture I posted with this review is the rear windshield of my Honda Accord. Its 5% tint and that picture was taken during the day. It's bright especially at night. I installed everything myself and you can to. Just make sure your power outlet in the vehicle is working.

Would have given 5 stars but the screw mount on one side was broken and since I really need them for work I made it hold. The suction cups don't hold well to the window even after cleaning. But I will most likely bolt it or something. But the lights are amazingly bright

Hardware provided is very sturdy, easy to install. Quite bright. maybe not as bright as the big brands but for the price it gets the job done very well.
