It quieted down my honda 250 with a HMF muffler to a tolerable level. Its still loud but thats what you get with a high performance system. Very easy to install.

Product fit and worked as described. Noticeable decrease in decibels and makes a higher pitch exhaust note. Had to adjust idle but didn't have to re-jet. Also, I really haven't noticed much of a performance difference.

I still have to get running again to hear the sound difference, but fit great and makes my exhaust legal for trail parks now. Should be a lifetime product.

Great add on to HMF pipe, you need both anyway to keep the pieces from rattling after installed so it is nice that someone bundled them.Based on others reviews, I was afraid it would quiet my bike too much. My bike was REALLY loud before. I like loud pipes, but mine was over the top. I had just repacked my pipe with sound stuffing before installing and that did not seem to help much. I found the quiet core to be much better than wide open but not even close to stock. I believe others pipes may not have been as loud as mine before the install .If I had to guess, I would say it muffled 30% of the noise.I did not need to adjust the carb after install.

I bought a HMF muffler for my Yamaha Kodiak 450 and it was so loud I almost put the stock exhaust back on but the quiet core quieted it down almost 50%! It has a much better tone and didn’t effect power at all.

I have an HMF muffler on my RZR and bought this to quiet it down. This core is too small in diameter and has a throat that will not allow the exit nozzle to fit flush. (It sits about a half inch high and will not seal.
