Installing Rear Traction Pad on Surfboard

Carefully remove old traction pad
New Surfboard: wipe it down with some water (or Windex) and paper towel.
Wax on tail: scrape the wax off with wax scraper
Old traction pad: slowly peel off with help of a razor blade

Remove residue from old traction pad
The tail needs to be perfectly clean, otherwise the traction pad won’t stick properly. (surfboard wax remover IS NOT recommended, it leaves oil)
Remove any residue with acetone or similar product.

Trace outline of traction pads
Lay out the pieces and trace the outline onto your surf board to find the perfect position before sticking the pads permanently.
Place them back against the leash plug directly over the fins.

Stick pads to surfboard
Peel off the backing on the pads, line them up with what you traced, and carefully press them onto your surfboard.
Press firmly all over the pads, to make sure they adhere to the surfboard.

Ready to surf!
Wait 24 hours to ensure proper adhesion before surfing.

good design with nice features. The foam is a good mix of traction and squish. Arch support is adequate and solid size for a go to track pad. Great buy for the price.

This is a great track pad and wonderful alternative to the higher priced brands. Has a nice feel to it, moderate center arch and kick tail. Have been using it on my 5'4 fish and really like it. Seems to stick really well...ordered a second one for my new 5'7 thruster.also I dig the palm trees! Hahaha***This has been sitting unposted for about a years?! Since I wrote the above review I have purchased two more of these for the last 2 boards I got...I guess it's my signature thing now 🤣🌴 big fan...also does not rash my knees when paddling!

Looks cool and seems durable enough for a lower priced pad. Might not have the same traction as a higher end pad, but it'll do the job for my hack around fish board. 4 stars bc it's new and I've only used it once, I'd give it 5 if it lasts.

Sticks well. Finally got some tail traction on my hard paddle board. I can't vouch for surf and sand durability, but they're perfect for fresh water paddling and pivot turns.

Watched Ben Gravy's videos and saw the Ho Stevie products show up, figured what the heck, bought, and applied this pad to a new formie I bought, the adhesive sticks really well and the bump on the pad feels very nice. I am using this pad to help me pop up chicken wing style, should help tremendously. I will update as I use this board.Update: I've surfed on this board five times now and all the seasons I've had with this pad it has performed wonderfully, it is comfy, the bump has helped me tremendously on my pop ups and it is holding up well, no tearing. There is no sign of the adhesive wearing out. Wonderful product!Yew!
