Installing Front Traction Pad on Surfboard

Remove all the wax
Remove any wax from your surfboard. Leave it in the sun so the wax starts to melt, then scrape it off.

Remove residue from old traction pad
The deck needs to be perfectly clean, otherwise the traction pad won’t stick properly. (surfboard wax remover IS NOT recommended, it's oily)
Remove any residue with acetone or similar product.

Trace outline of traction pads
Lay out the pieces and trace the outline onto your surf board to find the perfect position before sticking the pads permanently.
Stand next to your board to determine where to put the front traction.

Stick pads to surfboard
Peel off the backing on the pads, line them up with what you traced, and carefully press them onto your surfboard.
Press firmly all over the pads, to make sure they adhere to the surfboard.

I thought I was going to have to go through a period to get used to the front pad. I am here to say that if you are reading this review, pull the trigger and you will not be disappointed! Two waves and I was ripping the tops off of waves and felt super confident. I am going to get one for my twinnie for the summer fun!

Well, i surfed in my youth but these days i mostly slalom ski and snowboard. Snowboard stomp pads r expensive when u hav a lot of boards and u also want a big pad (so your foot doesnt miss it). Most snowboard stomp pads r small. So i ordered these surfboard traction pads and couldnt be more pleased !! They work really well and r so economical cause i cut them up and outfit 4 snowboards w.one order. Just awesome.

Love this traction! Works really well but not course against the skin. I have had this traction for about a year on a surf board I have used a lot and it seems to be holding up well.

Excellent traction pad at an amazing price. Used it a couple times already and was really surprised at the grip. I've always been skeptical of front traction pads...but these are comfortable when paddling and provide superior grip in comparison to wax.

Ho Stevie! markets good no frills gear that gets the job done. No pro surfer’s name plastered on it or hype you don’t need. Decent quality at a reasonable price.
