I already have a set of tip drills and had to get a separate chuck . I keep the drill bits in a old film tube and the small drill chuck in another box and inevitably when I need to use them it's search time.This I can keep in the package it came in and leave hanging on the wall ( I cut the side out the package, took the bit out and put it in the storage tube back in the package.This is a good idea if the drill chuck is durable and works well. It seems to be a good value for the money.

This is a great tool for cleaning a torch tip. However, the very smallest bit is the one most farmers and backyard project makers use most often and is the most delicate, therefore subject to breakage. It would be much better to supply several of these bits instead of a larger selection. I bought this tool to replace my neighbor's which I borrowed and broke. I was unable to retrieve the stub of the bit, but it eventually burned out of the way. Concept is superior to other tip cleaners.

The case, Jaws and collet were so poorly machined/fit that it is impossible to hold any of the small bits. The collet and case are such a poor fit the threads came damaged out of the package. The brass jaws were so badly deformed out of the package I could not even put a bit in it. I have a micro drill press and can use the small bits for tip cleaning if I set up a jig properly (lots of work and precision for this). I bought this to make a quick and simple job of cleaning a torch tip. This tool would never be able to function like that. Great place to store the micro bits though. So I consider this money spent for a decent storage place for easy to lose small bits.I am located too far away to bother returning this and waiting for another poorly made replacement so I just posted this review to help those who might consider getting one.

I purchased a separate stainless steel pin vice that I got to use while cleaning my 3d printer nozzles when they get plugged. Much better quality then the pin vice I got with the set of torch tip bits that I purchased as the Hobart drill bit set.

The small drill bits are a good idea but they are very fragile.If they encounter any debris inside a torch tip, that's not already free, the bit can break easily.The aluminum threads on the holder do not work smoothly and stick often while trying to secure a bit in the jaws.Storage of the bits is OK but you need to dump them out and sort through them each time.Small bits are easy to drop, since the jaws take a bit to get to tighten up on the smaller bits.May buy another unit to see if the one I received has uncommon issues.Price is OK.

1. Inside of sealed box with this tool made in China I found piece of dry organic stuff. It is disqusting.2. Drill-bit penetrated the box out that isn't safe.
