This receiver and transmitter combo works well. The range is good. The controller has all of the adjustments you would want including reversing the channels. The reciver has 4 channels plus 3 more for lights. Ive been using it for a little while with no issues.

I’ve been using an old extension style antenna Traxxas controller and receiver for one of my toy-grade to hobby-grade projects and it’s such a bother so I wanted an inexpensive controller/receiver combo and this did not disappoint. So easy to install and it was already bound together so I didn’t have to bother with the step. It’s an awesome combo and very light weight AND it came with a lanyard! BONUS! On top of they, it has dual rate steering which I actually needed because my steering endpoints were a bit far. Thanks guys! Awesome product and when I do my next project or need a replacement, I’ll be getting this one again!

This is a pretty nice budget controller. Absolutely no issues with connection - rock solid with very good range. The controls are adjustable. The foam on the wheel doesn't seem to be very durable, but the wheel is easy to use precisely. Overall good feel.The only negative I have about this transmitter, is that the plastics really feel flimsy. Other than this no complaints!

I've got 2 different Redcat transmitters and I would say this Hobby Fans feels about the same weight and build quality. The stickers are perfectly placed which IMO means the company pays attention to the little details. I like the foam wheel (it feels very nice but will it last?) and the lanyard attachment, I didn't know I wanted that before trying it! You always need 2 hands to fix things on your RC so it's pretty cool to just let it hang from your neck.Haven't tested it with a real RC yet, but it works perfectly with my custom USB adapter on my pc and the game/simulator VRC Pro. I really like it!
