This replacement is exact specs to original and fits right on the body of the airplane with no problems,easy to install and comes with all parts needed for a complete job. If you fly the champ plane,it is a good idea to have some spare parts around, the tail is very thin and probably the easiest to be damaged on impact. At the same time I ordered 2 of these ,I also ordered a replacement wing and it is ready to go if needed.

When I found that my Champ's tailfeathers had been damaged from the way I had been hanging it from a pipe for display, I was very happy to find that these replacement parts are still available even though the original orange-and-yellow 1S Champ has been out of production for several years. Learn from my mistake: the vertical and horizontal stab with elevator and rudder are quite fragile. The lightweight foam of which they are made, plus their thinness, makes them susceptible to creases and cracking. If you suspend a Champ from a wall or the ceiling, keep the suspension string well away from the tailfeathers.These parts are identical to the originals. I'm happy to find that they come with control horns, so I don't have to dig the old ones out of the damaged tailfeathers. Removing the broken parts and installing the new ones is not difficult. Make sure you use foam-safe CA to hold the new ones in place.

Son has Champ plane as his starter rc and loves it. Nice that parts are easily accessible and simple to replace. This is our 2nd order and will continue to use these great parts as needed.

If you have a hobbyzone champ you need this tail. Not hard to install, just takes a bit of time. Works great once installed.

Perfect replacement part for hobby zone champ. Comes with the control tabs. The tabs are a little hard to get on and there aren't any instructions so first put the control surfaces on to the rudder and alieron than I used a little hot glue to secure them together. Than attach your landing wheel and hot glue to rear of plane

I am very happy because these parts are OEM parts. They fit perfect. No issues, although I would suggest that the cable connections for tail and rudder be attached at the factory.

This was actually a very relaxing experience. All the parts you need to repair the tail on your champ are in the kit and the finished product really does look perfect. The kit does not include the tail wheel, but includes all of the other pieces. Took me a short amount of time and I am overly pleased by the way it turned out.

Don't do this. Buy a new plane instead. It will never fly again as before and this plane -despite very funny at the beginning- falls apart very quickly.
