I actually bought two of these - one for my 2014 Outback and one for my husband's 2014 Pro Angler. They arrived quick and the just screw right into the steering handle. No tools required. It takes less than 20 seconds.Edit to update: I sold my Outback and bought a 2015 Sport and purchased another one of these. Same great fit as the others, so it's universal and should fit all Hobie kayaks.

Does make it easier to maneuver. My arms are still to short to sit back and have arm comfortably rested. That’s hobies fault where they placed knob.

Very nice. I tend to engage the knob between my thumb and pointer finger without actually grasping anything. My hand is in a relaxed position and adds to the overall comfort of operation. One of my Hobies game with this and I have added it to my other two.

The picture of product and description showed the steering handle with the knob. However the actual product was only the knob. In the fine print it was noted handle not included but picture showes it was complete. Very disappointing

Product discription suggest you are ordering the entire handle but you get just the knob.

Simple install and design, but think it will be worth it in ease of use and improvement from handle without knob. A little expensive for a knob, but does improve it to make it worth paying the price for the improvement.My original review was just after installing it and not actually taking it out on the water and trying it. For my Hobie Revolution 13, this item isn't needed. The handle is too far away from the seat while sitting and to use this knob, you have to lean up to reach it. My hand reaches the steering handle just fine, but the knob is just barely out of easy reach, so isn't really an asset for the Revo 13. Not an expensive item and looks like it would be great, but not on my kayak.
