Provides great support. Not to stiff to hurt but also supportive enough to do the job correctly. Would recommend if needed for neck support not just for hockey injury

10 years of youth hockey experience talking here. Neck guards are required in our league so I thought it wouldn't hurt to have an extra in my bag. I couldn't get this off fast enough. This reminds me of the collar paramedics would put on you if you had a suspected neck injury. It's two layers of plastic (think cone of shame for your dog) held together by velcro. There is padding on the top and bottom where it would touch your chin and chest. Then it closes around your neck with another velcro closure. A neck protector this is not. Don't get me wrong... your neck would be totally protected, but you wouldn't be able to move your head. It says it's adjustable but even at the smallest vertical setting, there is no room for my head to move. There's no way I'd be able to play hockey with this thing on. I'll stick with my Bauer shirt with built-in neckguard.

My son likes this neck guard. It is lightweight and flexible, so it isn't a challenge to wear and doesn't impede his movement. It is easy to adjust and fit my son's neck and is comfortable to wear.  The guard appears to be put together well and should survive a lot of punishment.  We both like that his neck is protected and the peace of mind it affords. A solid option for a neck guard that does its job and does it well.

This neck guard is a nice addition to my son's gear. It appears to be strong, well made, and sturdy. It is easy to put on and comfortable to wear. It is lightweight and breathable, which he appreciates. It is flexible enough for him to move in easily and does not impair his movements while playing. He likes this neck guard and appreciates its protectiveness and ease of use.

This brace is lightweight. The edges of the brace are made of soft material. The edges are comfortable to be touched by the skin. It also has holes in the brace, which makes it breathable. It is comfortable to wear it.
