The LED on the front of the transmitter indicates the condition of the batteries. It will flash green during operation if the battery power is sufficient and will flash red if the battery power is low.

This purchase has made my job easier being a wireless temp pendant to install residential elevators. Before I would have to run a 50 foot cord to the control panel to install residential elevators and worry about the cord catching and pulling it out of the control panel. Not anymore. Worth every penny!
