I bought this specific door hanger because I use an IKEA octopus-shaped lingerie hanger to attach my unmentionables to for hang drying. It’s hook to hang from is skinny, so it can’t fit on a shower curtain bar, and the arms extended requires 6†clearance all around. This bar is perfect for it! Furthermore, I can hang the bar as needed for laundry days, then tuck it away when not in use. Is very sturdy, letting me hang a lot of weight of wet heavy fabrics like denim, coats, etc. A good purchase!Now, for those who read reviews first, pro & con, I want to address the fit issue. Some buyers complained about the huge gap that occurs if you hang this on a basic inside door, like a generic closet door. True, it will be too large as if made for a much thicker door and won’t stay secured without your help. The “spacers†that come with the package really aren’t spacers imho & won’t be enough to fill the dead space. They are skinny felt pads with adhesive on one side acting more like a sound & scratch barrier on the front side.My solution: I had some foam weather stripping that has adhesive on one side (sold cheaply at a dollar or hardware store). I cut one piece and adhered to the inside of the hook part. Likewise, cut another piece and put inside the front top part (in other words, both sides of the door are protected, hugged with foam. I used the spacer pieces that come with the bar at the bottom front side to further protect the door from scrapes. If I were keeping the bar in place 24/7, I would put on those Command strips instead to adhere to the door itself.I’m a renter and don’t plan to stay here in this building forever, so I needed the flexibility of a design that would allow me to use as needed, take with me, and not put holes into rental property. However, if I owned my home, would use a hanging bar more often, and had the space for it, I would get a different bar that can be screw-mounted.

I like this for hanging clothes when they come out of the dryer before I take them to the closet. I have it over a door near my dryer and it's very convenient. It could be used on most doors for extra hanging space.

It is very easy to setup. Overall I'm very happy! However, be prepared to jam something between the bracket and the door to keep it from wiggling and moving all over the place. They include spacers, but the spacers don't even come close to addressing the gigantic gap between the bracket and the door (I have standard doors, I've never seen a door so thick that this would fit snug be default)

Great quality. Very sturdy. Once removed from the shipping box, takes less than one minute to set it up. I'm serious. It is that quick. I love it. Then when you are done with it, you can just fold it down and leave it hanging on the door. It is white so it blends into the white door. It looks very neat and tidy. I was thrilled with the look and the quality. I ordered two more. I now have three and that is all that I need. I am very pleased with my purchase. Well worth the money. I don't like anything handing over my doors and sticking out for everyone to see. That is an eye sore. So, these work beautifully. I highly recommend them.

My laundry room is not big enough to have a rack of any kind so this allows me to hang several pieces to dry. I hang most of my shirts and jeans to prevent shrinking and this works perfectly. Will hold 5-5 pieces with no problem. Is not in the way but there when I need it.

This little door hangar is so helpful. Hangs on door so U can hang clothes as they come out of the dryer. Comes with a few sticky pads so marks are not left on doors. Really like this inexpensive item.

This is a very sturdy hanger support, I expect it to last a lifetime. My only problem is, it’s way too wide for my doors. So, all the interior doors I have in the house (rooms, bathrooms, closets, basement doors) are 1 and 3/8 inches, while the hanger fits 1 and 3/4 inches thick doors. I’d like to keep it because it’s very handy, but I still couldn’t come up with a solution to add some material so that it stays in place. Adding those foam pads it comes with doesn’t solve the problem at all, since they’re very thin; they’re meant to be used so the metal doesn’t scratch the door, not to adjust the door thickness.

This is a very handy little gadget. It fits over most (if not all) doors, and is very easy to use. I wanted it to hang the fresh ironing, but it could be a nice addition to a closet. Solidly made and folds up when not in use.

Nous avions besoin plus d'espace pour accrocher notre linge dans notre roulotte, étant donné le seul mini garde-robe dans celle-ci. Pour une famille de 4, ce n'était pas suffisant.Nous avons acheté ce support rétractable. Mon mari à coupé le crochet qui sert à mettre sur une porte. Et nous avons vissé le support dans le coin de notre chambre où il y a du solide. On peut le remplir de vêtements sans problème ( on met les habits lourds sur le lit quand on roule pour faire certain). C'est très minimaliste et on aime.Est-ce que ça vaut 20$? Non. Mais en masse solide pour nos besoins.Très content de notre achat.
