I have the camera pointed at my animals’ outside living area and I need to be able to reliably see the image. This little cover has ensured clear vision without raindrops or snow accumulation on the lens. Obviously if it’s foggy you still can’t see sharply but there’s no way to avoid that.

I got this 6 months ago. I'm in Central Texas, and we had a nasty hot summer as usual, so when I got this in April I spray painted the top with a glossy white so it wouldn't absorb as much heat. I noticed some IR reflection from the underside at night, so I painted it matte gray and that took care of itThe fit has been perfect, I didn't even use the peel and stick since it was staying on so well without it. As far as I can tell it's done a good job for my camera that's mounted in a tree to have a closer view of the street. The lens has stayed dry in the rain, and the camera has never overheated.

Easy to install, just pops on.Withstands direct heat and freezing temps without issue.Living in a rainy climate, this has significantly improved the viewing since the lens now only has issues with condensation vice being blurred from rain.

This was a great solution to my outdoor lights creating a glare on my ring camera. I had new outdoor lights installed after putting my ring cameras up and the new lighting created a glare on my cameras at night that made it difficult for me to see everything that was going on. At first I used a small piece of cardboard and it worked but it looked horrible. After some digging I found this ring camera “cap†and it’s worked perfectly. It comes with a sticky adhesive in the middle of the dome to ensure it sticks to the top of your camera and does not blow away. Very happy with this purchase.
