I bought this elastic with a bit if hesitation, as the elastic choices online exploded as fast as Covid and there’s some really crummy elastic out there. This was just what I had hoped it would be: soft, stretchy, and sturdy enough.

Have used this elastic and it works well for home-made cloth facemasks. Molds easily around the ears and you can adapt it's length to customize for various size faces. I hand wash cloth facemasks in hot water and this elastic holds up well. Not sure if you are using a hot clothes dryer. But for purposes, I'd buy it again.

I have made 20 masks so far using this elastic. It works great! Super Soft. Stretchy enough. It’s the best elastic that works with my sewing machine. The needle easily goes through this elastic.In the last picture, you can see this elastic on the child size masks and regular 1/4†rlastic on the adult masks. Fast delivery. Would buy again!

I have not used the product yet to make masks however it’s very soft which is what I was looking for. It’s a good thickness and stretchy. I cannot comment on how well it holds up at this point.

Comes wrapped nicely around a big rectangular piece of cardboard, which makes it very easy to measure off what you need and cut. Works extremely well for the masks I've been making. Far more comfortable than the traditional 1/4-inch elastic I've used previously.

It's soft, but strong enough to hold the mask with a good seal. Gentle to your ears. Everyone I've given masks to that have this elastic has really liked it for all the liking mask elastic reasons.

After using flat black elastic that was flawed, scratchy, and uncomfortable....BUT available, was delighted to find and purchase this. Received it quickly and I’m very happy with it. The others at 2.5 mm and 4 mm are too narrow to be caught securely with the needle of my sewing machine! But this at 1/4 inch (6 mm) does not require me to go back and hand sew on the mask! I do not make masks for sale, and have not donated (was late to the party to find supplies) but I have now made just over 300 masks in four styles and 3 sizes. I will be sticking to this cord for them!
