Great for the Covid 19 masks. I made over 75 for friends and family. It is soft, but substantial enough to hold the masks in place and not slip down the nose, nor make lines on your face.

During the first two years of the pandemic I used this for masks. It was stretchy and far more comfortable where it contacted skin that regular flat elastic. This time around, though, I'm using it for ties on athletic shoes for dolls (and in the wastebands of some of their clothes). Since it's machine washable and dryable, it's absolutely perfect! I love it!I will probably find other projects it will be perfect for, but I can't attest to anything I haven't already used it on.

Good stretch for making loops for face mask. Use a smaller length then what you think you will need as it does have good stretch. It is the width of a spaghetti noodle and round. It does give correct width in its description. Loving using it for ear loops for my face mask. Easy to tie and very comfortable on the ears.

I have ordered this elastic twice, once in black and now in white. It is the best I've found for making masks! It is so soft and comfortable on the face and ears. It's got great stretch and so far, it has held up well after wearing and washing the masks multiple times. I would highly recommend it!

Used for masks. Really soft and seems comfortable just a bit stretchy so I use shorter lengths. Haven't washed it yet, hopefully will still have stretch.

The elastic is so very soft, however it does NOT retain it's stretch. Very quickly, after a couple of pulls, it sags and doesn't spring back. Not great for face masks. The white one, however, is fabulous.
