I love this little thing!! I just tried it prior to this review. Cooks so much faster than the oven. 7-10 mins per batch and doesn't heat up the house, it's so fun to use and I love the color. I made way more than 6 jumbo, I accidentally made a bunch of minis I think close to 20, I ate a few before they were all done and didn't think to count....my only issue is no on/off button. I don't like when appliances turn on when plugged in. But i can look past that because i love everything else about this gadget so much! I love anything that makes my life easier. I recommend a pancake batter squeeze bottle or something similar to make adding batter easier, quicker and less messy. Using the right amount of cooking spray will make the clean up process quick and easy.Edit- I forgot to go into a bit more detail on how easy clean up is. Really easy, after its completely cooled off just take a damp dishcloth that isn't dripping wet and a tiny amount of soap. Then simply wipe it down.

This appliance makes great muffins. I have used Martha White muffin mixes and Jiffy Corn Muffin mixes. I followed the directions on the back of the packages exactly, and had excellent results. Martha White has a muffin mix called Birthday Cake which is more like cake than muffins. If one puts a little icing on them, it is like having cupcakes! I have purchased canned biscuits and canned cinnamon rolls (not the Grands, but the small diameter cans) and tried them in this muffin maker, and had perfect results. Pillsbury and whatever house brand products came out equally well. However, canned crescent rolls were a total failure. If you go to the Ken Click YouTube channel, he has a recipe for biscuits made in the Dash pie maker. I took his same full recipe, divided it in half between two muffin cups, and the resulting biscuits were wonderful. We now like biscuits cooked in this maker better than when baked in an oven. I have divided cake mixes in half, making only half the mix, and the resulting cupcakes turned out perfectly. The weirdest thing I did was make little crustless egg quiches in this muffin maker, and they also came out very good. So now I can do a breakfast of eggs and biscuits at the same time, but the eggs cook more quickly than the biscuits. Depending on how big a bite one takes, there are at least 2 to 4 bites per item made in the appliance. The men in my family were pleased that these muffins or eggs were not the mini one bite sizes. There is a recipe booklet that comes with this maker, but I have not tried any of the recipes. I can say that the recipes use common ingredients found in most stores. Caveat: The non stick surface is not the most wonderful in the world, but neither is it awful. I put about a teaspoon or less of oil in one of the cups, then use a silicone pastry brush to spread the oil to the other cups and lid. Clean up is a snap, but it would not be wise to use a sloppy wet sponge/dishrag to clean up this appliance. The plates are NOT removable and there is a very tiny space between the plates and the housing of the appliance where water can drip down into the electrics. I would most definitely purchase this muffin maker again. It is versatile, easy to use and clean up, and doesn't heat up my small southern kitchen. Also, it easily stores on its end like a suitcase, and does not have to store flat on its feet taking up room in my small cabinet.

Very happy with this cupcake maker. I usually just mix up half box of cake mix with one egg and half the luquids in measuing cup with a little wisk. Throw in some paper cupcake liners. go about my business in in about 10 minute you have cupcake. makes about 10 cupcakes for 1/2 box mix. .Perfect for 2 people. So handy for those times you just want a little cake. Quick, no mess, so easy.. Bakes thoroughly though. Saves electric as I don't have to fire an oven and make a big ordeal for a little cake. (particularly nice in summer. Who want to fire up an oven in the summer.) Perfect. Thank you Holstein Housewares you made my life a little more enjoyable. Love this thing.

I enjoy making little popovers in this machine. The cleanup is quick and I haven’t had anything stick to the surfaces yet. It’s also fun to experiment and make smaller bite sized versions of foods - I get a can of cinnamon rolls or biscuits and cut them up and place in the little machine. Definitely worth the money.

¡Me encanta! La maquinita para 6 cupcakes de la marca "Holstein" funciona perfectamente, cabe aclarar que el manual dice que solo se debe usar durante 15 minutos y dejar enfriar, lo cual hago, ya que la máquina se calienta en el exterior, además de que se pueden usar capacillos de silicón y papel, la primera vez la usé sin capacillos, lo que hice fue colocar aceite en ambas placas y precalentar, posteriormente agregué la mezcla.Anexo fotos del producto.Mi entrega llegó un dÃa antes, lo cual agradezco, excepto que el embalaje era una bolsa de plástico gris, el empaque o la caja venÃa rota, asà que temÃa que la máquina de cupcakes no funcionara, y agradecida estoy de que funciona perfectamente, asà que solo sugiero que se tenga un poco de cuidado en el traslado y el trato que se le da el producto, por lo demás todo perfecto.Tips:1-Si no tienen capacillos de silicón recuerden cubrir con aceite las placas antes de precalentar.2-Los capacillos de silicón que utilizo son de la marca "Mainstays", como tenÃa dudas de si resistirÃan, lo que hice fue echar aceite a 5 de las 6 cupcakes, es decir, dejé una sin aceite par ahà colocar después el capacillo de silicón, posteriormente precalenté las placas, después de precalentarlas coloqué el capacillo (al capacillo tampoco le puse aceite, solo puse aceite en la parte superior de ese cupcake) y procedà a echar la mezcla, para dejarla cocinar durante 7 minutos y mi maravillosa sorpresa fue ver que el capacillo resistió el calor de la maquina de cupckes, asà que los demás los he hecho con los capacillos como se ve en la imagen, colocando aceite solo en la parte superior.Espero esta información les sea de utilidad y por supuesto les recomiendo mucho la compra de la maquina de cupcakes.

I used my muffin smaller in size than I would have liked, but it was way faster than cooking them in the maker for the first time today and it was really simple to use. It is very quick to cook the muffins as well. it took about 7 to 8 minutes to make six muffins.
