Homak Manufacturing was founded in 1947 in Chicago by Sigmund H. Danziger. The name "Homak" was coined after a sign that Sigmund saw on a hat store. Originally a manufacturer of steel kitchen cabinets, Homak Expanded its product offerings in the 1960s to included a separate line of hardware products such as toolboxes, tool cabinets, and other accessories. Homak's hardware line remained strong and was accepted in many major retail businesses of its time. Following Sigmund's death in 1979, his wife, Gertrude, ran the company for 25 years. Under Gertrude's guidance, Homak extended its product line with automotive, hospital, and sporting goods. In January of 2005 Homak was acquired by JVA and moved its office to western Pennsylvania. Its facility now resides in the Wampum Underground Commerce Center. Today, Homak emphasizes tool storage and gun cabinet security. The full product line consists of hand-carry toolboxes, tool bags, parts organizers, tool storage cabinets, workbenches, garage furniture, safety cabinets, spill containment systems, P.B & E. products, steel lockers, gun cabinets, fire-resistant safes, ammo storage boxes and accessories. Each item is manufactured to exceed customer's expectations, and to provide strength and dependability to the customer.

Bought these for my son, so he could sort his LEGO, by color and type, and then build till his heart content. Chose these since they would fit into the space, and had more drawers. But not dividers provided, and they can tip forward pretty easily. Have to figure some way to make them more stable for him. Pulling on the drawers must be done gently, or they come out, or fly out, then parts everywhere. Fill cheap and flimsy for the price paid. But will make them work, wish they came with dividers, and were a little more bottom heavy.

I am a teacher and bought this hoping it will keep me organized. Paper clips, binder clips, sharpies, post-its, stamps, band aides, staples, pens, hall passes, etc all fit great. Lots of compartments and does not take up much desk space at all. Really like this item to help keep my desk organized. Seems pretty sturdy and should hold up well.

This is total junk. It showed up quickly, but was horribly bent. The entire unit is very flimsy plastic, and was bent so horribly it doesn't even sit flat on a table. I don't know how this was possible, but when it arrived ALL of the drawers were bent in strange ways - some of them don't slide in all the way, some of them don't slide out without real force, some of them just look really weird. Worst of all, the whole thing is so light, and the plastic on the bottom is so smooth, that when pulling out one of the misshapen drawers, I pull the whole thing off the shelf!

This is what you would use for fishing tackle and not much else. I bought it for my craft table but it's so small it won't hold anything besides beads. I even took the measurements it gave and measured out. Still didn't come out right. It's made with good quality but I wouldn't get it unless you need it for something tiny.

This just goes to show you that everybody's experience with a product is different. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I found this to be the perfect thing for what I bought it for ... storing my earrings. The drawers slide in and out perfectly and mine wasn't bent or damaged at all. The only problem I have with it is the bottom larger drawers are not quite large enough for my bracelets and that's only because they don't bend. I would definitely buy again.

It is big enough to hold all my random office supplies like clips, staples, post-it notes, pins, etc. The height makes it so that I am able to use it as a shelf for decorations without disturbing my co-workers with it being higher than my cubicle wall. The drawers seem sturdy and are deep enought o hold a tape dispenser so that it is out of the way.

this product is good but the problem is they not make or less care about the product because they not putting bobble wrap at least. when i revive the item back of this item is broken. half pc of plastic is totally broke out .
