For me, personally, I wake to put 3 stars because of the final goal that did not work out. That being said, this is perfect for people with like a 2-3 inch patch area. For larger areas, i tried multiple approaches and none of them resulted in it blending into the rest of the popcorn ceiling. I think they need the popcorn to be a little smaller so that when you add paint on top then it's the size that they currently are (they're too big after adding paint). The idea is great though and the product is easy to work with.

I had old damage to the garage's popcorn ceiling due to drywall slipping off the truss on a home I was getting ready to sell. Rescrewed the drywall so it's flat, then used the ceiling patch texture to repair along the drywall's edge. Color matched perfectly. I don't think the home inspector even commented on it.

There were spots of popcorn ceiling missing in my ceiling and while I'm not a fan, I also didn't feel like removing it. It was ok, but I had rather hoped for more of a putty-like consistency for a patch, and this was more like a regular paint, and with less grain than the original. It took several coats, but at least the ceiling isn't peeling anymore.

Great product for small repairs. Application takes some technique.

The texture 'corns' were more like large pieces of sand. Nothing larger than half the size of a BB and very sparse. Super soupy even after stirring/mixing vigorously. I didn't have much faith but thought, "maybe a chemical reaction will kick in and it will fine when it dries". So I applied some and it took for ever to dry and I was right, it looked nothing like a popcorn ceiling. Should have known better and made my own from some joint compound to start with b/c that's what I ended up doing and it looks so much better. This stuff is a waste of money.

It’s a good product. It was easy to use, & a fairly quick & cheap fix. I had to only do one coat on a small spot I had, but on other, larger spots I had to wait for the 1st layer to dry before adding another to match the texture of the rest of my ceiling. The color is just slightly off or maybe just shows up more as being slightly different on a couple of larger spots, but I’m just going to mix a little bit of color to match and apply. It shouldn’t be difficult. For the cost this is a great produce & a cost efficient fix. Would highly recommend!

I bought this in the hope it would help me repair a popcorn ceiling. There is no popcorn in this movie (or the product) as the product has no texture and appears to be massively overpriced cornice cement. Apparently a bot tells me I can't get a refund so hence the bad review.

Easy to use, stuck to the ceiling well, rolled well once on the ceiling, worked as advertised. Good product for patching small areas. I would recommend

Fairly easy to use. Sticks well. I used a 1 inch brush and kind of rolled and dabbed it on. You can't paint or spread it on.A thick mat roller might work, depending on the area you need to cover. To make the "popcorn" size match my existing ceiling I had to add some vermiculite. It worked quite well, actually. Personally I think this product serves the purpose for which it was intended but it is grossly overpriced. A lot of reviews have sated that this stuff dries grey. I did not find that to be the case. The dry product matched perfectly with no additional painting needed. Maybe it may appear dull on super white ceilings, not sure.

I recently had a water pipe that ended up having a pin hole leak. My husband had to remove approximately 2x4 of the ceiling in our living room to fix it. With that being said I started to panic as to how I was going to fix my ceiling until I found this stuff. This stuff has been amazing, I've used numerous dollar store brushes and stippled it on, the adhesion is fantastic and the dry time I would say is about 24 hours. One tub has been used for the first base, but in order for the repair to look exactly the same as the rest of my popcorn ceiling I'll probably need another tub or two. It did go on darker but once it dried it was white and will match my ceilings once I paint it. Do yourself a favor and dive into this DIY, its affordable and manageable and you'll save yourself a ton of money by not hiring a professional.
