I was missing the piece to go between the two pieces on the back. The other issue is the backing had holes prefabbed in it but the cabinet edge did not so you had to drill each hole. Their is a lot of foam packaging - be sure to pull it all out and check for everything. It is easy to overlook pieces that blend with the foamIt does require a drill and phillips screw driver. It also stated two people - haven't figured that part out yet except it might have decreased the time it took me to put it together. The instructions stated one hour assembly time, I did clock 2 hours for assembly.The drawer slides have to be the easiest I have ever installed and connected to the drawer. They do have sharp edges, so be advised.

Love the piece, had to review a couple steps a couple times just to ensure that I was understanding them correctly but I got there eventually

Large parts were mid identified and as a result I built it backwards. The holes are on the “good side†now so I can’t fix it. I also had 2 components left that the directions left out.

It would be ok but the sliding rails are horrible and so the drawers don’t open easily.

Like the look of the finished product but the material is cheap and I doubt it will hold up over time. Not sure it was worth over $70.The drawer slides for the bottom drawer are only held in place by 2 small screws on each side and one of them basically stripped out the "board" as I screwed it in to the side of the drawer. I had to get extra screws and add more then to add strength so the slides would stay attached to the drawer.The metal rods to hold hanging files aren't well supported and barely hold the weight of files.The bottom drawer was the main feature I need in this cabinet and I'll have to be VERY careful when using it so it doesn't fail.Cute cabinet but quality is a bit disappointing.

These file cabinets are not white. They are off white. Had I known that I would not have purchased them as I needed white to match my other furniture. It was too much of a hassle to return so I kept them. All the pictures/images on Amazon and other websites for this product show them to be white but they are not. The first image I attached is the white styrofoam that came in the box. The cabinets are clearly not the same color.The assembly doesn’t require 2 people. I did it myself. It took about 90 minutes each cabinet. They seem well constructed for being particle board. Some of the paper instructions that came in the box were missing pieces of information for assembly but I pieced things together to figure out what actual piece the instructions were showing to build it.
