We attach them to ski lift ticket wire wickets, to avoid "wire on zipper" wear and tear on jackets and pants. The fasteners' small size, light weight, and strength are all perfect, and I expect them to "weather" the cold weather without problem.

These are the exact size needed for travel purposes, and I'll certainly find uses for the extra I ordered.It's not an easy size and weight to source, so I appreciate the seller offering them. They're well made: accurately machined, no rough edges, and each opens, closes, and locks precisely. The price is quite reasonable, too - nearly 40% less than the version sold at my neighborhood Chicago national-chainhardwzre store.

These are larger than expected and way too big and clunky for the jewelry repair i needed to make. They are, however, very well-made and sturdy, so I will keep them for another use.
