Use this handy gadget on the outlet of your counterblow or plate chilling system, to monitor exact temperature, of the flowing liquid. The large 3" dial thermometer gives an accurate real-time reading. Our Homebrew Stuff thermometer is designed to be an effective instrument in the beer brewing process. You may notice that the temperature range has been reduced from a typical 0°-250° to a reduced range of 50°-220°, this reduced temperature range makes the thermometer more accurate, and the temperatures easier to read. There is a calibration screw on the back so that the thermometer can be boil calibrated for the most accurate mashing temps.

Used this in my homebrewing setup to monitor wort temperature exiting the chiller. Did a great job and I knew when to stop recirculating and fill the fermentor.

Good product except the thermometer is seated too far down in the fitting and blocked the flow of liquid. I had to buy a spacer fitting to make it work correctly, now it works great!

I combined this thermometer with the Northern Brewing chiller and the thermometer obstructed the flow. The product was the combination of a 1/2" tee -150 and the first sign (which I ignored at first) of trouble was the fact that the probe stuck out the opposite side! It sticks out about 3/8" and when assembled it is just the right length to block the flow. I thought I had a pump failure. I'll cobble together some adapters to take up the extra space but I was disappointed that no one thought of this problem before selling the combination.

All stainless, accurate thermometer. Comes with a single 1/2" barb fitting so you will need to purchase an additional barb fitting for the outlet of your desired tubing size. Makes it able for you to adjust wort flow through a counter-flow chiller to get exact output temperatures into your fermentation vessel.
