The shoes do not have real laces, the kids can easily slide their shoe on and stick the Velcro. All by themselves. It has been a game changer. The material of the shoe has been VERY durable. All three of my boys (6,5&2) have been wearing these shoes nearly every day for a month and they still look brand new. The bottom is a bit dirty because it is white, but it doesn’t look worn down and the top isn’t scuffing. (My kids are nuts! They crawl around on the ground and do flips and stuff) my children say the shoes are very comfy, and they fit like regular shoes. I sized up because they are growing boys. The 7’s were tight on my toddler so I bought an 8. The 1’s were tight on my 6yo so I bought a 2. Get them I think you’ll be pleased, plus they are black and black goes with everything

Love these boots for my 3 year old boy! He loves them too and calls them his working boots! Easy to put on and take off!! Good durability, easy to dress up, love the color!

Our dude is normally a 13, the shoe runs a little big but was totally fine with thick socks on! So far they've proven to be warm, mostly waterproof (not dunking in puddles, but no issue with a little rain or snow!) and they've held up great on the playground! Will definitely buy again in the next size when he grows out of these!
