Not sure why people say they don’t work. The screens work fine with no problem stopping oil from splashing. The handle folds down so you can easily stack them. I do use in the dishwasher and no problems.

Just what I was looking for. Having 3 covers all the pot and skillets I have. I wash by hand so not sure how it would be in dishwasher. I would recommend these screens. So far I mostly use when frying bacon and burgers. Keeps stove and me alot cleaner and I haven't noticed it getting to hot to handle. I would buy again.

I’m mostly pleased. It seems solidly built. I mainly use it when frying hamburgers. I’ve found it does a good job at controlling spatter. And it cleans up easily, whether by hand or in the dishwasher.In hindsight, however, I wish I had bought the kind with a jutting handle. The fold-flat, centered, “knob†is good for storing in the cabinet, but I find it a bit awkward in actual function. It gets hot, so I use a potholder, but that involves putting my hand/arm over the heat and it involves the potholder coming in contact with the greasy screen.So, as I mentioned, it’s a good product… but probably not the best choice for me, personally.

It holds liquid splatter under the mesh, so there is no mess when frying in the cast iron. The folding handle is genius. It makes storing a snap. I hand wash and dry them right after use; they look new.

I love these! I don’t know why I haven’t had these before now. There perfect for the dishwasher and when you cover your pan the weight of the handle thingy on top has enough weight to it so it snugs up to the pan just perfect!! I’m gonna tell everyone about these….good quality and easy to store because of no handle.

These must have been designed in Italy. Simple, practical, functional, elegant, sounds like Italy to me. I really like the handles, they pop up easily and fold out of the way when you want to store them flat or side by side. But I still have grease splatter getting through the screen. Maybe there is no screen that would be small enough to stop all splatter and still let out the moisture. One problem is that there is a flaw in the manufacture of this produce in that there are wire threads that pop up around the edges, Very sharp like little needles, watch out.

These splatter screens are very well crafted. They stop grease splatter and are simple to clean.

The biggest “plus†(IMO) is that the handles fold down, so they’re a real space saver - especially for those of us who store their pot lids in their broiler / warmer drawer.The size options are really nice - especially having a smaller size, which I use most often.I’ve been using these for awhile and they’re holding up well - with multiple uses and trips through the dishwasher - they’re still “good as newâ€.I recommend these - good price, nice features, and (so far) durable.This is a “perk-free†review.
